Catch Basin Replacement Project (#2019-011)

MSD’s Supplier Diversity department is reaching out to MBEs and WBEs to inform you that the Louisville and Jefferson County Metropolitan Sewer District (MSD) posted a RFP for the construction of Catch Basin Replacement Project (#2019-011).

Please Note:  MBEs and WBEs are encouraged to submit a bid as a Prime on this project.

The Supplier Diversity Interim Policy requirements for minority and woman owned business (M/WBE) participation are not applicable for this project.  Submission of the Construction Related MBE/WBE documents and forms are not required with the bid documents. 

Specifications (see bid notification for complete list of specifications):

• Scope of Work:  This unit base construction order is for three catch basin replacements along South 5th Street and South 7^th This contract provides for tree trap catch basin replacements, asphalt milling & paving, and traffic control

The Project Manager for this Invitation to Bid is Joseph Exely.  All inquiries and questions prior to the bid opening shall be directed, in writing, to MSD’s Procurement Buyer Kevin Schmidt; email:  kevin.schmidt@louisvillemsd.org.  Questions received less than two days prior to the date for opening of bids may not be answered.  Only answers by formal written Addenda will be binding.  Oral and other interpretations or clarifications will be without legal effect.  All inquiries and questions between the bid opening and the contract awarding shall be directed, in writing, to MSD’s Chief Engineer, Angela Akridge, P.E.

Note:  The bid opening date is October 2, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. local time.  All sealed proposals will be received until the time previously mentioned.
