MSD’s Supplier Diversity department is reaching out to us MBEs and WBEs to inform you that the Louisville and Jefferson County Metropolitan Sewer District (MSD) posted a RFP for Elevator Maintenance and Repair Service (#18-1009).
- Scope of work: Provide full Maintenance Elevator and Repair Service at various MSD Locations. The Contractor shall examine, operate, clean, lubricate, adjust equipment, provide all material, tools, labor, travel, equipment, and supervision needed to perform annual inspections and maintenance on elevators located throughout the District.
- Site Visit – Site visits are optional, and can be arranged with the MSD Administrator at the individual locations and performed no later than Thursday, September 27, 2018 (see list of locations and contact persons at www.msd.bids.com).
- Pre-Award Contact: Except as may otherwise be provided under Special Provisions, prospective bidders shall have contact with MSD only through Mary Kirchner by email at: mary.kirchner@louisvillemsd.org, or by phone , (502) 540-6111, at 700 West Liberty Street, Louisville, KY 40203.
- Submittal of Questions – If any person contemplating the submission of a Proposal for the work is in doubt of the true meaning of any part of the Contract Document, a written request for an interpretation shall be submitted to Mary Kirchner, by email at: mary.kirchner@louisvillemsd.org no later than 9:00 a.m. local time on Monday, October 1, 2018. Questions received after that date may not be answered. Questions will be answered by Addenda. The person making the request will be responsible for its prompt delivery.
