Indianapolis MBDA Business Center Hires Business Development Manager

David O. Fredricks has joined the Indianapolis Minority Business Development Agency (MBDA) Business Center as the Business Development Manager.  Most recently David worked as a Grants Consultant for the Indiana State Department of Health.

The Indiana Minority Supplier Development Council  (IMSDC) was awarded a $1.1 million grant from the U.S. Department of Commerce in 2011 to operate the Indianapolis MBDA Business Center.  The Indiana Center is one of 30 centers nationwide that was funded by MBDA.  The purpose of the Center is to assist minority entrepreneurs with access to markets, contracts and capital and offer strategic business consulting services to facilitate 21st century growth in today’s global economy.  Last year, the MBDA Center secured more than $25 million in contracts and procurements and created more than 500 jobs.

The center is staffed with three full-time employees and is located in the IMSDC building at 2126 N. Meridian Street, Indianapolis, IN.
