The Accelerate 100+ program’s mission is to increase economic access for Central Indiana’s diverse businesses by providing professional development, best practices and access that meets each participant’s individual needs. Accelerate 100+ is a twelve-month program that results in greater access to education, capital, contract opportunities, new business and support services. This includes focusing on diverse businesses, leading them through research and business conception to business implementation and sustainability, education and training – culminating with the issuance of a Certificate of Entrepreneurship from an accredited college/university.
While there may be similar programs currently in existence for select groups, none bring the national resources available through the Mid-States MSDC or collectively through partnerships that the organization has with global resources from corporate America, government and the non-profit sector.
The Accelerate 100+ program represents a unique and extraordinary opportunity to fundamentally shift minority business development into a new 21st-century model. Rapid technological advances, new industry clusters, globalization and increased competition have all become a new way of doing business, while minority business development efforts have largely gone unchanged. This unprecedented collaboration requires comprehensive program management, administration, oversight and the intricate coordination of resources and relationships to ultimately drive success.
